Key facts

Drive
Rear-wheel drive, two rear motors, no differential
Power
over 1 MW (over 1,341 hp)
Gear ratio
8.4:1

What it is

The car is described as rear-wheel drive, with two rear motors and no differential. Each motor drives a wheel through an 8.4:1 planetary gearset, with its own inverter, which is how torque vectoring is described.

The engineer figure is over 1 MW and over 1,400 Nm. Other reports say about 1,500 hp, and a per-motor figure of 500 kW is also printed. A lower version at 800 kW and 885 lb-ft is described as still in development. Cobalt-steel laminations are reported.

Figures below come from Tesla posts or from engineers speaking to outlets. Where sources disagree, the spec sheet says so.

The 1 MW, 1,500 hp, and 500 kW figures are not the same claim. The spec sheet uses over 1 MW and notes the other reports.
