# Software and autonomy

A track screen and boost, and a limited automation claim tied to the windscreen.

## What it is

A track screen is described with thruster pressure, and a boost or push-to-pass control is described on the yoke. Tesla's tagline frames the car as a driver's car, and Musk has said it is meant to be Tesla's only manually driven car over time.

A limited version of FSD is described, with the windscreen rake given as the reason the cameras are constrained. The exact restrictions are described as unexplained. Separate reporting says FSD was left out at launch.

Figures below come from Tesla posts or from engineers speaking to outlets. Where sources disagree, the spec sheet says so.

Screens. A simple diagram of a centre screen, a thin display at the base of the windscreen, and a track readout for thruster pressure.

## Open questions

> Not yet published by Tesla. What limited automation includes, and whether it is offered at launch, is not settled across the sources.
